Hello, I’m Daisy. I am originally from Hong Kong and currently based in Austin, Texas. I’m drawn to intricate details and beauty in the ordinary. My work often takes on a mellow, dreamlike tone. I work primarily with fineliners and black colored pencils.At the beginning of 2025 I discovered shuttle tatting. Fascinated by its neat structure and delicate patterns, I started learning tatting on my own. I was also introduced to the history of lacemaking, its connection to women, class and social control. It deepened my appreciation of the craft, revealing it as both an art form and a reflection of broader social histories.
